Dr. Ingrid Baksys, originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, found her calling in veterinary medicine, driven by her lifelong love for animals and people. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 2001, she joined the Riser team, where she later became a co-owner in June 2015 alongside Dr. Sutkay. Dr. Baksys has a special interest in internal medicine and enjoys nurturing young companions during puppy and kitten visits. Outside of work, Dr. Baksys finds joy in reading, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
